The last few months have been incredible for the robotics in Bulgaria.
The next groups of Robopartans start on the 11th February in Sofia, Varna, Burgas and Plovdiv. You can Register here. And this is how we made it so far.
The courses in Robopartans for 2011-2012 started in October. Then in November we organized the local tournament of the international competition in robotics FIRST LEGO League 2011. The winners – KASAPIN40 went to the semi-finals in Poland, where, on the 3rd of December they did an amazing job and managed to reach the finals which will take place in Germany in January, 2012. There KASAPIN40 will be competing with the best 25 teams in Europe.
Meanwhile, on 16th of December, students from the 11th grade in TUES competed and even gained some advantage over the students from TU-Varna and TU-Sofia in the day of Robotics in Varna.
The three robots – NoMercy, Barbie, and Putin – showed noteworthy skills in football.
Another extremely interesting part was the covering of these events by televisions, newspapers, and radios. Some of them were BNT, Nova (after 55:30), Nova (after 12:20), Kapital, TV7, TV7 (2), BBT, BBT (2).
